The Airbus A380 is a double-deck widebody aircraft designed for medium- to long-haul airline operations.
The A380 is powered by four turbofan engeines: available with two types, the Rolls-Royce Trent 900 or the Engine Alliance GP7000.
It is the world's largest passenger airliner, and the airports at which it operates have upgraded facilities to accommodate it.
The A380 entered commercial service on 25 October 2007 and offers seating capacities between 525-853 with its three passenger
versions: A350-800, A350-900 and A350neo. |

The Airbus A380 entered service with Emirates on 1 August 2008. Emirates operates the world’s largest fleet of Airbus A380s,
with 75 in service and a further 65 on firm order. On 14 April 2014, Airbus A380-861 s/n 159 was flown first with Airbus Industries
test-registration F-WWSE. On 26 September 2014, the A380-861 was delivered as A6-AEO to Emirates. On 18 September 2016, the 2014-built
Airbus A380 A6-AEO was seen at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol during the Superburendagen (Super Neighbors Days) at the airport, organized
to mark 100 years Schiphol. |
